What is Mobiderm ?

MOBIDERM is a medical device for mobilizing the subcutaneous tissue. It consists of foam blocks enclosed between two non-woven fabrics. The MOBIDERM technology can be used under a relief bandage (in the form of a bandage or a pillow) or integrated into mobilizing garments.

Due to the pressure difference between the contact surface of the blocks & their surroundings, it promotes lymph flow & optimizes drainage efficiency. This also has a positive influence on wound healing, the optimized drainage efficiency favours wound healing due to the optimization of metabolism (removal of waste products through drainage).

Clinical Study - Olympy Study

What is this clinical study ?

There are very few studies about genital and pelvic lymphedema & no dedicated device is available on market, so patient have to combine several solutions.

It's a reason why Thuasne has conducted the olympy study to have a better understanding of this population and its needs and the acceptance of our new Mobiderm Intimate Shorts device.

This study was conducted, with 32 patients, for 3 months, in 3 centers in France : Toulouse with Dr. Malloizel, Montpellier, with Dr. Mestre, Paris, with Dr. Vignes.

What are the results of this study ?

78.6% of patients - improve their quality of life
